Donors are welcome to contribute to these already established funds, or can create their own with a gift of $10,000 or more. Please contact the Foundation for more information about contributing to or creating a fund by calling 717.393.5894.

SABVI Operations Funds
For more than 80 years, Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired (SABVI) has been helping to restore autonomy and independence to the lives of Pennsylvania residents who are blind and vision impaired. From education and prevention to rehabilitation and employment, SABVI takes a comprehensive approach to services. The SABVI Operations Fund helps to ensure these services continue to be available to the Pennsylvania communities SABVI serves: Lancaster, Lebanon and Somerset Counties, and Northeast Philadelphia. Both the principal and earnings from this fund are available for transfer to SABVI to support operations in its affiliated agencies throughout the state.


The Robert Y. Garrett Jr. Fund
This fund was established in memory of the late Robert Y. Garrett Jr., former chair of the SABVI Board of Directors, by his wife Vivian and son Robert III. Earnings from this fund are used to support educational endeavors for the employees of SABVI. Educational programs that have been supported in the past by this fund include professional training, seminars, technical training, group retreats and motivational presentations.
